Hi, I’m Chance. I currently attend graduate school full time at the University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI) in Ann Arbor, MI. At UMSI I am studying User Experience (UX) Design and Research.
In addition to attending school, I work part time as a Graphic Designer for a company called Artonic Web in Tecumseh, MI, about 45 minutes southwest of Ann Arbor. I also have experience working as a freelance Graphic Designer, during which I have worked on many projects for small companies throughout Northern Michigan.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching sports and movies, and playing video games. Football has always been a big part of my life and during college I was lucky enough to become a student athlete at Siena Heights University where I was a four-year member of the football team. After hanging my cleats up for the final time after my senior year, I was forced to find a new way to enjoy a sport that had become such a huge part of my life. What I found was completely different, but has become almost as big a part of my life. Over the past two years, I have been running a 32 person online league in the Madden NFL video game where we go week by week through multiple seasons with our own NFL teams where are we are in complete control. Through my experience with playing football and running this league, I have learned some valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, facing adversity, goal setting, and conflict resolution that have helped shape me into the person that I am today.
